Course Description

The Tajweed Pathway – Level 1 is a foundational program for sisters who are new to Qur’anic recitation. This course focuses on correct pronunciation, fluency, and essential Tajweed rules without burdening students with excessive technical theory. Through guided practice and structured lessons, students will gradually build confidence and fluency in their recitation.

Who Is This Course For?

  • Sisters with little or no Tajweed background
  • Learners who want to improve recitation for daily prayers
  • Students aiming for fluency before advancing to higher level

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, students will:

  • Recognize and correctly pronounce Arabic letters (Makharij al-Huruf)
  • Apply basic Tajweed rules
  • Read the Qur’an fluently with improved pronunciation and confidence

  • Minimum score: 75% required to progress to the next level
  • Certification issued by Darul Hikmah Islamic Centre
